Corporate Monitor was formed in 1999 to play a key role in developing
socially responsible/ethical investment (SRI) in Australia. We do
this by monitoring the non-financial activities of Australian companies
and SRI funds.
Our 4 key strategies are to:
specialise
in providing non-financial information about major
Australian companies;
review the investment performance
and ethical integrity of Australian SRI funds;
enable professional advice on SRI to become an accepted part
of financial planning services and asset consulting;
and to
provide a range of tools that help investors incorporate
their
values and ethics into their investment decisions.
Our fundamental belief is that SRI makes a contribution towards
a fairer society and a more sustainable economy and natural environment.
