Important Announcement - CAER has acquired Corporate Monitor sustainability research business. Click here for further details.

Corporate Monitor was formed in 1999 to play a key role in developing socially responsible/ethical investment (SRI) in Australia by rating and monitoring the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) responsibilities and other non-financial activities of Australian companies and ESG funds.

Our 4 key strategies are to:

• specialise in providing non-financial information about major Australian    companies;
• review the investment performance and ethical integrity of Australian ESG    funds;
• enable professional advice on SRI to become an accepted part of financial    planning services and asset consulting and to;
• provide a range of tools that help investors incorporate their values and    ethics into their investment decisions.

Our fundamental belief is that SRI makes a contribution towards a fairer society and a more sustainable economy and natural environment.

Corporate Monitor rates companies using a five star system to define the environmental, social and corporate governance performance. Click here for an explanation of our rating system.
